What is PHP?

PHP (stand for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used open source general-purpose scripting language .It is server side programming language and can be embedded into HTML.

PHP was created by Rasmus Leforf in 1994. 

 PHP at the time was called personal Home page .PHP was very simple and could be used to create Web Pages counter etc.
